Itinerary

Cathedral of Granada

A jewel of the Spanish Renaissance, notable for its imposing façade and its light-filled interior, where elements of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque come together. It was built on the site of the former Great Mosque and symbolizes the transition of religious power after the Reconquest.

Parish Church of the Sagrario

The Baroque church located next to the Cathedral stands on the site of the mihrab of the Great Mosque and is an example of the cultural and religious syncretism of Granada.

Royal Chapel of Granada

A historic monument that houses the tombs of the Catholic Monarchs Isabella and Ferdinand, as well as their daughter Juana the Mad and Philip the Handsome, combining elements of Gothic and Renaissance with important political and spiritual significance in the history of Spain.
